Aleph Alpha appoints Peter Heidkamp as Vice President for the Financial Services Industry
Aleph Alpha, a leading European artificial intelligence company, is excited to announce the
appointment of Peter Heidkamp as Vice President for the Financial Services Industry (FSI). In
this role, Peter Heidkamp will lead the further development of Aleph Alpha’s industry-specific
AI solutions and drive transformative innovation for the financial sector.
With more than 22 years of international experience in senior leadership roles, including
Partner at KPMG and Executive Director at Deutsche Börse, Peter brings unique expertise in
technology-driven business transformation, new technology, digital resilience, regulatory
compliance and cybersecurity. His new role will strengthen Aleph Alpha’s growing portfolio of
AI offerings for banking and insurance companies.

Highlights of his career include successfully managing large transformational projects to
digitalize banking and insurance, leading international client service teams, implementing IT
governance and risk management structures, driving cloud transformation initiatives and
overseeing critical IT and cyber security projects and operations. During his time at Deutsche
Börse, he successfully built the Group’s IT Governance, Risk and Transformation department,
and later established the new ICT Risk Function in the light of the Digital Operational
Resilience Act (DORA). At KPMG, he held leadership positions in IT audit, technology
consulting and cloud transformation, serving some of the largest financial institutions
worldwide. Peter was honored to lead KPMG’s technology center of excellence.

Peter holds a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Computer Science and
Technology Management from the University of Cologne. Throughout his distinguished
career, he has received several awards for innovation and excellence, including for revenue
growth and technology transformation.
