Reto Spörri leaves Aleph Alpha, Ilhan Scheer continues as CEO

Heidelberg, 28 September 2026 – Reto Spörri has left Aleph Alpha after fourteen months as Co-CEO to pursue new professional opportunities. Following Spörri’s departure, Ilhan Scheer will continue as CEO and serve as sole Managing Director of Aleph Alpha.

During the past year, Aleph Alpha has sharpened its strategic focus on specialized AI for sovereign and mission-critical applications. The company is approaching several important milestones, including the upcoming release of its new specialized language model and the continued development of its transatlantic technology partnership.
